Rotating magnetic field^*

Most of the electric motors and generators have the rotating magnetic field inside. To create the rotating magnetic field the electric machines are built with the multy-phase winding.

AC Magnetic module of QuickField allows definition of the multy-phase windings, and rotating magnetic field simulation. There you can specify both the source value and the phase for each conductor.

Besides defining of the multi-phase windings, there is the second approach available to model the rotating magnetic field using the specific boundary conditions.
